Insight Schools seeks Online Mandarin Chinese Teachers
Insight Schools is currently recruiting qualified high school Mandarin Chinese teachers for its online high school.
Insight Schools builds, operates and funds state wide, full-time, diploma-granting, online public high schools that are authorized and governed by school districts and community organizations. Through our growing network of tuition-free schools, we are educating high-school-age youth who, for a variety of reasons, need an alternative to the traditional public high school experience.
Our online teachers are responsible for the overall facilitation of assigned courses. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Corresponding with students via email and telephone,
* Identifying and contacting students who have not logged into class,
* Grading assignments,
* Conducting parent-teacher conferences,
* Leading regularly scheduled office hours/tutoring sessions once a week,
* Communicating with other members of the learning team
* Advising the Principal and mentors of class and student needs.
* Completing necessary class/student reports for administrative purposes;
Insight Schools teachers teach virtually from the comfort of their own home - no commute! We require our teachers to have a valid secondary teaching license with a single subject endorsement for the state for which they teach.
