CLATC sponsored 2011 Chinese Teacher Trainning Prograom in Beijing
This year, the Chinese Language Teachers Association of California(CLTAC) co-sponsors a 7-day Chinese Teacher Training Program in Beijing with the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press of the Beijing Foreign Studies University (北京外国语大学外语教学与研究出版社) during the winter break. The program will cover all major expenses for attending the program for selected applicants, including:
--International round-trip air tickets from a US hub city to Beijing.
--Necessary local travel costs in China, including
-- Accommodations and group meals.
--Custom training costs and all required instructional materials cost.
--At least 1 day cultural travel in Beijing.
(Participants will buy 20 copies of recommended teaching materials in the program. This shall be a minimal cost in comparison to the total expenses covered by the program.)
The training will be conducted by several leading experts in Chinese teaching, including Dr. Stella Kwoh, a CLTAC executive committee member.
