In order to provide better professional development opportunities for CLTAC members, CLTAC Board recently decided to co-host the 2010 Chinese Language Education Forum (CLEF) in the Fall this year, in stead of independently holding its regular Fall Workshop. The other co-host organizations of the 2010 CLEF are the Chinese Language Education and Research Center (CLERC) and the Confucius Institute at San Francisco State University.
CLEF is to serve as a platform for Chinese K-16 teachers, heritage language instructors, policymakers, educational administrators, product and service providers in the field of Chinese language education from around the world to exchange new researches and fresh ideas and share creative teaching experience and professional development information. The forum will also highlight a comprehensive Chinese Language Materials Expo. Selected papers will be published after the forum. This year’s CLTAC annual membership meeting will be held at this forum.
